Who We Are

The Institute of Organisation Development Professionals - Ghana (IODP - GHANA) is a national professional body established to bring together practitioners, consultants, educators, and students working in the field of Organisation Development. IODP - GHANA was born out of a vision to create a unified platform where OD professionals in Ghana could collaborate, promote ethical practice, enhance professional development, and influence public and institutional policy.
Recognising the vital role OD plays in organisational transformation, leadership development, and institutional effectiveness, IODP - GHANA provides a home for professionals who are committed to using OD principles to drive meaningful and sustainable change. Headquartered in Sunyani, Bono Region, IODP - GHANA serves as a centre for excellence, advocacy, and capacity building for OD professionals across the country.

President

A certified Organisation Development (OD) Practitioner, academic, and institutional development consultant with over a decade of experience supporting public institutions, local governance systems, non-governmental organisations, and community-based groups to enhance organisational effectiveness and service delivery. He holds a Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) in Social Forestry and Environmental Governance from the University of Energy and Natural Resources and a Master of Philosophy (MPhil) in Development Management from the University for Development Studies. Mr. Bashiru Imoro

Vice President

A seasoned Organisation Development practitioner, institutional development expert, and higher education administrator with extensive experience in leadership, consultancy, and organisational performance improvement. He holds a Master of Science (MSc) in Organisation Development from the College for Community and Organisation Development (CCOD), a Master of Arts in Human Resource Management from the University of Cape Coast, and a Postgraduate Diploma in Organisation Development. He is also an Organisational Development Certified Consultant (ODCC) affiliated with CCOD and the Institute of Organisation Development (IOD), USA. Partnerships and Fundraising Lead

Ms. Delilah Sibe Welam is a development-oriented professional with strong expertise in partnerships development, stakeholder engagement, and resource mobilisation across both public and non-governmental sectors. Mr. Noel Domah

General Secretary

A trained Geographer, emerging Organisation Development (OD) practitioner, and early-career researcher with a strong interest in rural and community development. He holds both a Bachelor of Arts and a Master of Philosophy (MPhil) in Geography and Rural Development from the Kwame Nkrumah University of Science and Technology (KNUST). In addition, he has obtained a number of professional certificates in Organisation Development and related fields, reflecting his growing commitment to institutional performance improvement and people-centred development.

Mr. Jacob Pambo

Financial Secretary

An Organisation Development practitioner with a Master of Science (MSc) degree in Organisation Development and a strong interest in institutional governance and financial accountability. He serves as the Financial Secretary of the Institute of Organisation Development Professionals (IODP) – Ghana, where he is responsible for establishing and maintaining effective financial management systems to support the Institute’s operations. In his role, he oversees the preparation and management of the Institute’s annual budget in collaboration with the President, ensures proper documentation of dues, fundraising, grants, and expenditure, and provides regular financial reports to the Executive Body.

An accomplished Organizational Development professional with over five years of progressive experience in training coordination, curriculum development, and institutional capacity building. Successfully designed and facilitated multiple training programmes, workshops, and stakeholder engagements for tertiary institutions, private sector groups, and community-based organizations, contributing to improved team effectiveness and organizational performance.

As a Facilitator at the College for Community and Organizational Development, I have supported curriculum delivery, coordinated facilitators, and strengthened certification partnerships, enhancing programme quality and learner satisfaction.
