Governance & Structure

Our Leadership Structure

The Institute of Organisation Development Professionals - Ghana (IODP - GHANA) is structured to promote accountability, inclusion, and shared leadership. Our governance model ensures that every member has a voice while enabling strategic oversight and effective implementation of our mission.

General Assembly

The General Assembly is the highest decision-making body of the Institute. It comprises all fully registered members and meets at least once a year to approve plans, budgets, and major decisions, including elections.

National Executive Council (NEC)

The NEC is responsible for the day-to-day running of the Institute. It is made up of elected officers including the President, Vice President, General Secretary, Treasurer, Organising Secretary, Public Relations Officer, and two additional members from regional chapters. The Council oversees policy implementation, member engagement, and programme delivery.

Advisory Board

IODP - GHANA is guided by a diverse group of senior professionals who provide strategic direction, thought leadership, and mentorship to the Executive Council and membership at large.

Committees

To support our operations, IODP - GHANA has several standing committees:

Ethics and Membership Committee

Research and Publications Committee

Training and Certification Committee

Finance and Fundraising Committee

Each committee is composed of dedicated members who bring technical expertise to advance the work of the Institute..

Regional Chapters

IAs we grow, IODP - GHANA will establish regional chapters to promote local engagement, decentralised events, and grassroots mobilisation across Ghana.
