DR. ENOCK KATERE 

PRESIDENT

Dr. Enock Katere is a certified Organisation Development (OD) Practitioner, academic, and institutional development consultant with over a decade of experience supporting public institutions, local governance systems, non-governmental organisations, and community-based groups to enhance organisational effectiveness and service delivery. He holds a Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) in Social Forestry and Environmental Governance from the University of Energy and Natural Resources and a Master of Philosophy (MPhil) in Development Management from the University for Development Studies. In addition, he has obtained several professional certifications in Organisation Development and related fields, reflecting his commitment to professional excellence and performance improvement.

Dr. Katere currently serves as a Lecturer at the College for Community and Organisation Development, Sunyani, where he teaches and mentors students in Organisation Development, leadership, and institutional performance. His professional engagements span strategic planning, organisational diagnosis, leadership development, stakeholder engagement, and capacity building for both public and community institutions. He previously served as Director of the Poverty Reduction and Empowerment Centre, where he led the implementation of community-driven development programmes and facilitated training for over 600 rural leaders, local government officials, and development practitioners.

As President of the Institute of Organisation Development Professionals – Ghana (IODP-Gh), Dr. Katere provides strategic leadership for the Institute’s growth and operations. He represents the Institute at national and international levels while championing ethical OD practice and Appreciative Leadership as essential tools for strengthening institutions and improving governance outcomes in Ghana..
